Another Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Mad~ I think I need a new hobby! <3

Ho ho ho! I made a second Yu-Gi-Oh! GX MAD!! These things are kind of addictive, I tried harder on the video this time... XD;;

So I've made a Yu-Gi-Oh! Mad! :D

I don't think that anyone really wants to hear what I have to say about Michael Jackson, but he was important to me so I'm going to post an entry in this blog to honour the man that means 'childhood' to me.

I've spent the past two days listening to his music; on my iPod and on TV. The one song that seems to fit this situation is the title of this blog; "Gone too soon".

It's how I feel.

I don't care what people thought of him, in my world he was an important and constant element. His music saw me through happy times and sad times. I may not 'know' him and I may have never seen him in person, but his voice has been in my ears since I was small.

I grew up listening to songs like Rockin' Robin and Ben, I grew older with songs like Smooth Criminal and Jam.

R.I.P, Michael Jackson. You were a huge influence on my life. I'll always be listening.

I swear, maybe some of my US friends are just lucky but.... Over here in the UK it feels like companies are just such assholes!! It's like they really don't give two fucking shits about whether you shop with them or not and the staff make no attempts to show any kind of remorse or positive emotion.

They're all a bunch of aloof fucking assholes!!

I went to return a game to my local store (I had bought it when I was out of town on a day trip), I said that I would like to return the game.

The store manage gave me a look like I was a piece of shit and said "It hasn't got the guarantee sticker on it."

I said "The guy at the store did not put a sticker on it, I left the price tags on to prove it's new."

He just said "No. You'll have to go back and return it there."

And it was not just what he was saying, it was the way he said it and the look in his face. It was like I was scum.

Then he tried to pin the blame on me, saying that I should make sure they put a guarantee sticker on products. I don't believe it's my job to tell someone else how to do theirs.

In short, UK companies are just fucking assholes. I might just give up on trying to shop in this country. It's not like they value your custom.

This particular shop I had been going to for years. I used to pre order all my games there and I used to buy loads of stuff. Since they fucked me over on my Xbox 360, I stopped going there so much - but they didn't care. However, this is the final nail in the coffin. I will not be giving that branch my custom EVER.

And I'll aim to buy most of my games off of a website or more reliable game store.

Warning to all; don't shop at GAME in Wandsworth, unless of course you like being treated like the shit on someone's shoe.

Ah much better!

A long time ago, back in the 90's there was a show called "The Legend of the Four Kings" when I was a teen my mum taped the show off of the TV for me because it was about Dragons and I have a dragon fetish. I have to say it is the single most influential Anime in my life.
Sure I like Bleach, sure I love Vampire Knight and yes I even like Akira but... Legend of the Four Kings was the FIRST one. >.>; Yes I know it's dated. Yes I know the animation sucks. Yes I know the voice acting was horrible.

BUT I LOVED IT!!!!!!! D:<

I can't really explain to anyone (well articulately at least) quite what it is about that show... Afterall, I just listed a whole bunch of faults regarding it above. It used to be a Manga (called Sohryuden) and was then adapted in to an OVA / Anime and distrubted in the UK under the "Manga" group. I watched it on TV and bought some of the videos, I've always wished they would re-release it in DVD format here in the UK... (I might need to import...)

Anyway, the basic story is about four dragon brothers who live in Japan and have no real idea of what they are. They are gifted with super-human strength and immunity but at first they don't really see much difference between themselves and people. A few episodes in they are told that they are actually Dragons; descendants of a Dragon King. And that they can become Dragons.

At first they do not believe this, but when they see the youngest brother turn in to his dragon form (after being hit by a nuclear weapon) they start to realise the truth. After that event, they are hunted down (more so than usual). Various organisations wishing to turn them in to dragons and use them for their own aims.

The worst part of all?

It was all a dream!! The youngest brother was having a dream about being human on the 'blue planet' and hence the whole series was actually the dream of a Dragon King that lives in the Celestial palace up in space. D:

So why after all this time have I started to talk about this highly influential Anime? (Well influential to me).

BECAUSE!!!

Yesterday! I got to DOWNLOAD the OST!!!!!! *.*
All the music that I remember loving as a kid! All the tracks that I kept rewinding my video tape to listen to! They're on this folder of MP3 files! and I feel like I've been taken back in time!!! I can almost see the series in the back of my mind as this music plays!!

From the moment that the Blue Dragon is destroying secret USA military Equipment (in space), to the scene where the Red Dragon rises up in the centre of Tokyo and starts burning stuff up!!

*.* Oh it's glorious to reminisce like a kid!! <3

Yes my Kaname header is no more! Instead I've decided to upload a rather strange black, white and grey (aka: Monochrome) header that features my favourite incarnation of Lucifer; Angel Sanctuary Lucifer! ♥
Angel Sanctuary Lucifer is so handsome! XD;;

I can't be bothered to try and spell out Lucifer in Katakana or anything, so boring English it is!

:3 There aren't many colour pictures of Angel Sanctuary characters, so using Manga-moments seems more appropriate!

Okay so today I went out shopping with my mum and bought some stuff (just boring stuff really).

Anyway, that's not the point the POINT of this mini-blog is: I got my results from University (as in my overall grade for my degree).

I PASSED! *throws confetti* not only did I pass, I got a 2:1!! That's just below the top mark!! Wheeeeee!!

I'm not sure I deserve the mark, though, I didn't work as hard as some people in the class and I feel bad about that. But I'm still over the moon that I passed!!
